 people that live there don't want the Island to be called "BORA" it must be "BORACAY" we even saw a signage that says "BORACAY please not BORA".. 'bora' in Filipino language means 'erase'..

another attraction is the Puka beach were very fine sand and picturesque of views awaits. This is where the movie "When Love Begins" filmed. It's a really nice place but you can't stay for long. In this island, there were no resorts and other establishments. It's beauty deserves to be isolated and to be cared of. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the very clear water you'll be tempted to drink it :D

Notes for those first timers :))

• Don't ever forget to bring SUNBLOCK wherever you go during your stay specially when going Island Hopping (it's best if you put 30 mins. before going out of your Hotels and if you're lucky like me, maybe you'll too catch an extra off for Smoothies and Tropical Drinks at 'The Beach Hut Bar')
  
• Being a girls scout is not bad. During our stay, I manage to bring my bag with me every time ( most of the time it contains: coin purse [with just a bit amount of money just in case there were fees and other stuff to be paid of] , shawl or towel [in this place you'll never know when you'll be off for swimming], camera [be sure to place it in a waterproof case or in a separate pouch to protect it from being wet and damaged] and a bottle of water [it will help you a lot I swear]  :D ).
• Don't lose yourself in sleeping. Surely, activities in the Island were as tiring as hell but really, you can't afford to miss the Sunrise at Boracay. It's one of the things that made you thank that you are a Filipino :D
• Be wise in taking arrangement from different fixers. There were lots of them in the Island.
• Don't be afraid to ask a discount and freebies when you're buying souvenirs and when  you'll be having a water adventure. They can give you an off specially if your in a group or when your buying in bulk :)
• Lastly, be nice to everyone in the Island. Remember to live happy and live free. You all deserve to be.. Happy Trip guys! :)
